- Service Information: Services booked, booking dates, time slots, special instructions
- Payment Information: Transaction IDs, payment status (we do NOT store card numbers or UPI PINs — payments are processed by Razorpay)
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, device type (for fraud prevention)
- Communication Records: SMS logs, email correspondence with our team
2. How We Use Your Information
- To book and deliver home services at your address
- To send booking confirmations, OTPs, and service updates via SMS and email
- To process payments and issue invoices
- To assign verified technicians to your service request
- To respond to support queries and complaints
- To improve our services and website experience
- To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
3. SMS & Email Communications
By creating an account and booking services, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages (via Fast2SMS DLT) and emails related to your bookings. These include:
- OTP for account verification and password reset
- Booking confirmation and technician assignment notifications
- Service completion confirmation
- Feedback requests post-service
We do not send promotional SMS without your explicit consent. You may opt out by contacting us at info@sddhomeservices.com.
4. Data Sharing
We share your information only with:
- Assigned Technicians: Your name, phone, address, and service details — necessary to complete your booking
- Razorpay: Payment processing (governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy)
- Fast2SMS: SMS delivery service for transactional messages
- Legal Authorities: If required by law, court order, or government request
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
5. Data Security
- Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — never in plain text
- Payments are secured by Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure
- Database credentials are stored outside public_html (web root)
- All connections use HTTPS/SSL encryption
- Session cookies are HTTP-only and secure
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required for service delivery. Order records are retained for 7 years as required under Indian accounting laws. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Under Indian law, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data by logging into your account
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for non-transactional communications
8. Cookies
We use session cookies to maintain your login state and cart. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are set.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us immediately.
